About Me - Gemma

My whole career has been focused on nutrition, the power of eating well and helping people put this into practice.

My Story

Food is something that influences us all several times a day, every day.

 

When you want to improve your health or well-being, then your nutrition gives the most opportunities per day to induce change.

​

I have spent my whole working life loving being a dietitian. I passionately believe that the foods we choose to eat can significantly impact our lives in numerous ways.

​

The clients I have seen over the years have proven this case, and I have been able to support people to live better quality lives by:

​

  • Increasing energy

  • Achieving a healthy body weight

  • Improving sleep

  • Better digestion (including a microbiome analysis, see services)

  • Resolving food-related hormone issues

  • Supporting disordered eating to achieve healthy eating practices

  • Providing support to individuals undergoing drug/alcohol detox

  • Educating on meal planning and recipe analysis

Additional work I do includes:

  • Analysing recipes for health professionals / social media influencers

  • Training private chefs and kitchen staff

  • Supporting companies to provide healthier workplaces

​

I have worked as a clinical dietitian in an NHS hospital (UK); developed and managed a Europe-wide nutrition department for a premium fitness company; given (physical/mental) health promotion presentations to numerous international companies (including FIFA headquarters, Zürich); I was the expert dietitian for a bestselling baby food recipe book and regularly work with high-profile/celebrity clients.

 

The experience I have gained over the years has allowed me to create an effective, achievable and fully personalised way to support my clients. ​

I believe in a complete lifestyle approach to change, therefore I also trained in behavioural change techniques, to enable me to offer additional support to clients that have a complicated relationship with food / eating.

​

I strongly believe in empowering people to be able to manage their situations independently. I aim to educate and support clients to a point where they have all of the resources they need to maintain long-term success.

​

I take a fully individual approach with each client situation; each person has a unique set of needs/goals and therefore requires a very personalised plan. There really is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to eating well. By offering my services as an online nutritionist, I have been able to help clients all around the globe.

Over the past years I have worked with an increasing number of high-profile clients and my flexibility has allowed me to also offer training for private chefs/kitchen staff.
